My sister said she doesn't understand why people are carrying on so, because it's not going to be that bad.

The thing is that only parts of the bill are intended to be immediate. And, if it (were actually understood) and run properly it probably wouldn't be so bad. BUT, here's the question - Do you really trust the government to run it properly & without intruding on your individual rights? And not just on healthcare.

If you accuse someone of wrongdoing & their response is name calling & insulting you. People then look to you and await a response to the insults. ----- Because they insulted you & called you names, does that mean that they are not doing the wrongdoing that you accused them of? NO, they have simply redirected the attention away from them and your accusation.

The BIG picture is this - the vast majority of politicians in America, the UN, and around the world are NOT horrible, evil people trying to do everyone in. They are doing what, in their minds, is the best thing(s) to do. The problem is that they are very misquided, because so many of them do not believe in God or the Bible. As far as, the healthcare bill being about control - it is; but so are many other pieces of legistlation & Executive Orders that have been being passed for decades (Republicans & Democrats). We will not see the worst of what has been passed until it is "time". The fact is that the groundwork for a one-world government has been in the works for a long time. But, if you remember, Revelation stated that Power would be obtained through peace. Only God knows how close we are, & how fast or slowly things will continue to progress, but things are being set up, so that when the time comes & the Antichrist does appear, all he will have to do is "Take the Seat" and he will be in Power over the globe, because all of the major obstacles will have already been overcome. --- And, don't kid yourselves, America, our Constitution & our freedoms are very big obstacles.

The more see things happening - I keep thinking about Senator Amidala in Star Wars Episode III  the Rise of the Empire, when she was in the Senate meeting & they voted the Chancelor "emergency powers," - she said, "So this is how democracy dies...with thunderous applause."

I was a bit disappointed last night. I knew John Cena & Randy Orton could win with no problem. But that match could've been a lot better.

I wonder about Randy Orton...the last few weeks on RAW, he almost seems as though his heart is not into the matches. He doesn't seem to be fighting back. Randy, I hope everything is going okay with you - no, I don't want to see you trying to break someone's arm or anything like that - but I do hope things are okay, because I do enjoy watching you wrestle...you are a good wrestler.

I got to thinking about it one day, Wrestling is like modern-day fights at the Roman Colosseum (with the big exception that the objective is NOT to kill your opponent as it was back then - thankfully). But, I think that people, naturally, like physical competitions. I think that everyone has some degree of competitiveness in them.

I like WWE wrestling. I don't care much for all the talking & show, and the interference and cheating, but I would venture to say that I am probably in a minority crowd, or WWE would not be huge, like it is. I can deal with some of the talk & cheating, but I just think there is too much, & there are so few straight-forward, good matches. But, Mr. McMahon obviously knows what he's doing, because he's definitely making money with wrestling as it is.

Some matches that I would like to see would be Big Show VS Great Kahli or Mark Henry; Cody Rhodes VS Evan Bourne or Kofi Kingston --- The Miz VS Ted Dibiase. When Ted Dibiase, the Million Dollar Man was the guest host, and put for Ted Dibiase to wrestle Randy Orton, was the first time I saw Ted Dibiase wrestle without some amount of cheating. Yes, I could tell that Randy Orton held back some, but even so, Ted Dibiase held his own pretty good. And the Miz is very annoying, but I have seen him wrestle in a pretty even match without cheating, and he did good. I think that Ted Dibiase & the Miz are probably evenly matched & the two of them would make for a really good match. ( But, the Miz does need to learn that the Awesome One is GOD! ) As a matter of fact Ted Dibiase was one of my favorites, before he became the Million Dollar Man.

I think Santino is funny & not a bad wrestler when he's not worrying about being a "clown." And the scene with Triple H & HBK and the office building was funny too. But, I like funny, because I like to laugh.

I am looking forward to the match tonight with John Cena & Randy Orton VS Chris Jericho & Big Show. I think it will be a good match (afterward, who knows). John Cena & Randy Orton are my favorite wrestlers. They are both really good. People are surprised when I say that Randy Orton is one of my favorites. It's because I know a lot of that is show; I don't like it, so I just ignore it. Randy Orton is a good wrestler, which is why I was okay with him winning the title, because I truly believe that in a clean, straight-forward match between Randy Orton & Triple H, that each of them are capable of beating the other. Randy Orton doesn't need the cheating & underhanded attacks to win, that's all just part of the "show" part to build up rivalries & wanting to see people wrestle each other.  (I know I'm an odd-ball when it comes to that, in basic training my Drill Seargent got kind of frustrated that he could not ever say anything to make me mad/angry enough to want to fight someone.)

There will be no tears in heaven. The Bible says that He will wipe away all our tears. It is hard to imagine there being no tears. No sorrow or pain, yes, but no tears....  You've heard the phrase Tears of Joy, well it is hard to imagine there being no tears at the overwhelming joy of seeing Him face-to-face!

I suppose, though, that is one reason why we'll get new bodies in heaven...to have bodies that can take in the unlimited joy of seeing the Father & Son face-to-face! And, you know that heaven will be so much more.

But, as awesome as heaven will be, I think, that seeing the Father the Son face-to-face will be the very best thing about heaven!

I watched part of President Obama's "town hall" meeting on healthcare & a few of the Q & A. He is a good speaker, and I don't think that anyone disagrees that changes need to be made & healthcare that costs need to be controlled.

President Obama can say what he wants to, and even if he is truly sincere in what he says, it doesn't mean that the bill would not end up doing exactly the opposite of what he says - and there is proof of that in how the "stimulus" bill got passed. Congress voted on it, passed it, and President Obama signed into law without any of them reading it! So, it all really boils down to whom you choose to believe and whether you trust them!

What many people do not seem to realize is that many of the things that are brought up by "whistle blowers", sometimes may sound urgent and extreme. When things get passed, the result does not seem to be such a drastic change, and often little change is noticed by the average person. So, it begins to seem as though the comments and accusations made by the whistle blowers are just over-stated hype. But the truth is, that many of the things that the whistle blowers bring up, when passed into law, were never intended to have an immediate effect.

"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take everything you have." (I forget which president said this.) Lawmakers know that to bring about drastic change and still keep the peace, the change(s) must be subtle and gradual! Going back at least 70 or so years, our rights in America have slowly been being limited, changed, or taken away.

Also be careful about accepting what you're told, by the names or titles given them. Do not accept that a Stimulus Bill is for Stimulus just because they call it that, or that Healthcare Reform is just about Healthcare Reform. For one, because of all of the Riders that get attached to a bill, that typically are never mentioned for the general public to hear. And, secondly, because words, names, or titles are chosen for a purely "advertising" effect. For example, when you hear about a company doing Lay Offs, it sounds bad, because you know people are losing their jobs. So, "they" changed to using the term Downsizing, which sounds a little better. And, now the term is Reorganizing, which sounds a lot better, because it sounds like a company is just changing positions and responsibilities and not necessarily that people are losing their jobs...but when a company "regoranizes", it is the exact same thing - people are losing their jobs.

And, one more thing to consider about the "whistle blowers." Think about this, even if you completely support the Dems and President Obama - if not for those speaking out - loudly and continually, do you really believe that you would have known about the bill and what they were hoping to accomplish? Do you really believe that there would have been all of the town hall meetings done by CongressPersons to try inform and build up support for the bill? I very highly doubt it! It was only a 2 or 3 years ago that Congress attempted to pass a bill to prevent the "whistle blower" agencies/people from informing people of what Congress was working on - whether you agree with them or not, be glad they are there!!

I came across an article onine, put out by the AP, titled, White House Advises Dems on Health Care Protests  http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090807/ap_on_go_co/us_health_care_overhaul/print

Which basically states, that the Dems claim that all the protests against the healthcare plan are staged, so they are going to stage their own by allowing in supporters and not allowing some others into the townhall meetings.

Quote from the article: "Senators saw videos of disruptions at events held by House members, and were told to organize their events more carefully as well as work with labor unions and other friendly groups to generate enthusiasm."

AFA sent out an alert a year or two ago, because the Congress was trying to pass a bill that would forbid groups like AFA and others from distributing information about what bills Congress was working on, and about to vote on. (Because Congress was tired of hearing from The People.)

In other words, they appear to be okay with The People speaking out, when The People agree with them, and only when The People agree with them. It certainly does not sound like a government "Of the People, By the People, and For the People."  

For those who believe that government officials are not trying to change our country, from the roots up, look at these links on the proposed Constitution for the Newstates of America (and if you do a search now, you'll find a lot more websites now than I did then. I came across these several years ago. I watched the movie Left Behind. Part of the story line was the UN controlling 10 plots of land throughout the world. And, I know that movies sometimes take something that is true and "run" with it. I wondered if there was any truth to it, or if it was just made up for the movie. I started looking it up, and found that the UN already controls the vast majority of land in the world, including in the US, and has for some time now. I continued looking up stuff on the UN, looking for pro-UN and anti-UN. I began to stumble on things like these sites, I dont' know how true this is, but the point is, someone (or several someones) have obviously put a lot of time and thought into this concept...

For those who may not know, On The O'Reilly Factor, at the end of each episode, Bill O'Reilly gives a new word of the day. The word for today 8/6/09 is Blooter. He stated that is not in many dictionaries but is a real word. I checked two dictionaries we have here, including one that was printed in the 1960s, and it wasn't in there. I also checked one dictionary site online, and it wasn't there.

 For those who have trouble finding it, I did find blooter at http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/blooter. There are more usages of the word, but this one meaning as a Noun, and two as a Verb.

Blooter - N. A babbler, a bumbling idiot, a fool. V. To do poor work, to blotch a job. To talk foolishly, to babble.

You hear so much about obesity being such a problem, and that childhood obesity is also a huge problem - and that the overweight & obese cause dramatic increases the costs of healthcare.

Then why is there no "stimulus" money going to fund physcial education in our schools?

The local schools here have little to no physical education. In the elementary schools, they may have a PE class twice a week for about an hour. In the middle school, to give a specific example, my son, from the grades 6 - 8, had PE for 1 nine-week period. The local high school, this year, has cut back PE to the absolute, bare minimum, state requirment. (Which also leads one to wonder what other subjects are they cutting back to the minimum state requirment.)

If physical activity and excercise helps reduce costs in healthcare, and in the amount of healthcare, then wouldn't it be a more wise investment to fund Physical Education classes (and regularly) in our schools? I do believe that is far more important than the cash for clunkers.  People will eventually get new or newer cars, out of necessity. But, it is much easier to teach people to live a more healthy lifestyle when there young, rather than trying to change poorly developed habits and lifestyles.

I'm not a scientist, but there are scientists that say the current weather conditions, and melting polar ice caps are due to Global Warming as a direct result of Man's activity in the last century, or so. From what I understand of what I listened to science programs on TV, this opinion is based on the comparison of Earth to Venus (and a whole lot of assumptions). There are also scientists who say that the current weather conditions and melting polar ice caps is part of a normal, natural variation in Earth's environment. So, it's really a matter of which scientist's interpretations you choose to believe. But, I think, that the "powers that be" the interpretation of Global Warming is a good way to justify to make changes in policies (world-wide) to take away, or limit individual's rights. People are going to wake up one day, and realize that they do not have rights any more, and have to live with the fact the sat by and just watched it happen, and in some cases urged/cheered it on. Who knows how slowly or quickly any of it will come about, but the point is, it is happening right now, before our eyes - but so many people, simply choose not to see it.

On the subject of being "green," I do believe that we should be responsible, and take care of the Earth, because the Earth does not belong to any of us, it belongs to God. And, taking care of the Earth falls in the category of respecting other people's property.

• Yesterday, Fox News ran a story concerning manufacturing jobs in America, and said that most of the manufacturing jobs are being moved to other countries (putting Americans out of work) that do not have evnironmental controls. Well, it seems to me that the problem of emissions is not being dealt with; the problem is just being relocated.
• Why are electric cars supposedly so much better? They'll just vastly increase electricity usage, which "they" insist is part of the problem (and the government just passed a bill that will substantially increase electricity bills.).
• The cash for clunkers program, (c4c) that Dems say is such a success, is to the economy, what a NoDoz (or a caffeine shot of some kind) is to someone that's tired. When a tired person takes a "caffeine shot" they get a boost for a little bit, but then Crash. People may jump at an incredible discount/or "coupon," but it doesn't mean that the sales will continue once the discounts stop. And, with all the lax loan requirements (the government keeps claiming are the cause of the all the banking problems - so they needed bail out), how does anyone know that the people taking advantage of the $4500 government credit, can actually afford the payments on the remaining balances of the cars they're buying, and the insurance and avalorem taxes on brand new cars????

Since UN resolutions DO have an affect on America, Americans, and our tax money, why is there not more coverage of the UN and the resolutions it passes?

• Tonight, Glenn Beck played an excerpt of Michelle Obama speaking. From what I have come across from varying sources (and opinions) on the UN, what she said in that short snippet is typical thinking of UN officials & program leaders, and clearly state the goals of the UN.

• "To achieve One World Government it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, their loyalty to family traditions and national identification." Brock Chisholm, while director of UN World Health Organization

• "...nationhood as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority." - Strobe Talbott, Deputy Secretary of State, 1994-2001

• Both of these quotes are taken from http://www.un-freezone.org/index.html. And these are just a couple that I remembered where they were, off the top of my head. There are more, including saying that the UN is not ashamed of using food to control behavior, and that they envision a world where is considered a more horrendous crime to destroy a rain forest than to sell a child into slavery, the UN's goal is eliminate all sources of conflict in the world (and two of the biggest sources of conflict are religion & politics) and more just like them. (Most of my stuff is in storage and what isn't is in boxes, it'll take me a little while to find where I got those from & who said them. But when I find them, I will definitely post them.)

• Did you know that the primary complaint when the US does not take part in a UN program, like the World Court (and others), is that the US has so much money, and if the US joins the program(s) that smaller countries could pay less.

• Did you know that the UN controls most of the land around the world, including in the US? And, that the UN wants the American Great Plains devoid of people and reverted back to plains for animals to graze? (What about the people that live there??)

 People really need to wake up & look at the bigger picture! Rights are being taken, and the world is being slowly taken over, all in the name of peace & conservation. DO NOT take my word for any of it, research stuff for yourself, including on actual UN websites (you do have to look & pay attention, they don't just post on their sites that they want to take your freedoms).

There have been people throughout history, for the entire past 2000 years, people warning everyone that the end is near.  When you read/study about some of the events that have taken place through out history, you can kind of understand why they would think that. During the Black Plague so many, many people died (Ring Around the Posey originated during the Black Death); during the Great Famine there was wide-spread famine, people dying from hunger, incrase in crime because of the extreme hunger, and even some reports of people killing & eating their own children (the story Hansel & Gretel originated during the Great Famine); and during the American Civil War, it was brother fighting against brother; just to mention a few things in history.

Jesus told of the Signs of the End, in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. And, in Matthew 24: 32-33; Mark 13:32-33; and Luke 21: 29-31, Jesus said, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." (KJV) Jesus said that we would know when it was getting close, because we would see the signs. 

Yes, there have been wars & rumors of wars for ages, and events like the Black Death, and the Great Famine have taken place. Many people thought the end was near, because those things were so very bad, and could not imagine things being much worse (because the Bible states that it will be Tribulation unlike it has ever been on earth - Matt 24: 21-22; Mark 13: 19-20).

But, each time the warnings of the end were based on only 1 or 2 aspects of the signs of the end; and the warnings spread because of the extreme fear and dread of what was going on. (And, yes, I do believe there have been some crackpots mixed in throughout the last 2000 years too.)

But, if you read/study what the Bible says about the signs of the end, & what it will be like when the Antichrist appears - and listen/research what is going on around the world (not just here), and at the UN, you will see that besides the weather extremes, moral degradation, the wars & rumors of wars, that we are closer than ever to a one-world government (closer than people realize), they're discussing & working toward a one-world currency, and the UN wants to do away with everything that causes conflict (and the two biggest are politics and religion). Technology is so near (or maybe there) the capability of not only tracking each individual and their cars, but also to the point of being able to control who can buy & sell to make a living.

I have only mentioned a few things in this blog.Do research for yourself. (Research means, multiple sources, and as much as possible, sources from varying view points.) There is so much more. I have even read, on websites that try to disprove Christianity and claim that Jesus was a myth, the same conclusion to the events taking place - one world government, religion, and currency; monitored constantly, and anyone who doesn't conform to what they say, is not allowed the means to live. Read some of the quotes from UN officials, read about the World Court, and read from UN websites. (The resolutions are kind of hard to follow, because they're written in "political" jargon; but if you read through it a few times slowly, you can get the gist of it.)

John 14:2, Jesus says that in His Father's house there are many mansions.

 I watched a show on (I think it was on) HGTV one time, a few years ago, that was called Extreme Mansions (I think). They showed these houses in all kinds of shapes; there was one that was a beach house shaped like a sea shell.

GOD knows each of us by name, and how many hairs are on our head. He knows every single detail about each of us - the good, the not-so-good, and the bad. Think about a mansion for each of us who are written in the Book of Life, thinking along the lines of that show...  maybe GOD has prepared personalized mansions for each of us. A mansion shaped and designed specifically with you in mind, and fits your exact taste & likes down to the last detail. Just imagine! What do you think your mansion would look like. What do you think it will be made of (remember, the streets are paved with gold), and with GOD there are no limits to what can be done.

We'll never even come close to imagining what it will actually be like, but it's still enjoyable to think about it. And just think, in Heaven, we'll know everyone and all be friends; no matter who your neighbors are, they'll be good neighbors.

I think that one of most awesome things about heaven is that, as awesome as we can imagine it being - it will still be far better. (Isaiah 64:4, 1 Corinthians 2:9 - No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him. NIV) And, Paul said, in 2 Corinthians, "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (NIV) So, not only is going to more awesome than the absolute best we can imagine, it's gonna be forever! And, we will get to see GOD all of the time!!

[Two important things to remember about Heaven...1 is to keep your eyes on the prize, as Paul said in, Philippians 3:14, "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." (NIV) We must go through this life as though we are running a race to win a prize, and the prize is Heaven. And, 2, Be very careful whom you trust, or you could be led astray, as Paul says in, Colossians 2:18, "Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions."]

My dad still has vinyl records, we listened to them when I was growing up. One of the albums is, The Very Best of The Very Best of Bill Gaither Trio for Kids. One of the songs is called The Won't Be's in Heaven. (I really like that song, but I can't find it anywhere anymore.) It's a fun way to think about the types of things that will be and won't be in Heaven. For example, there won't be colds, flus, homework, and bills I can't pay.

I just cannot imagine any person that has given their lives to GOD, really thinking about Heaven, what it's going to be, and getting to see GOD all the time, and not smiling and being happy - no matter what is going on in this world or in their lives...Because GOD promised that everything we go through will be worth it all! "You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning." Job 11: 16 - 17 (NIV)

I will share my thoughts and imaginings of heaven from time to time, and try not to get too carried away with it, but it just gets me so excited - to get to see GOD all the time, and to see Jesus, sit next to Him and talk to Him just to pass time (time that will never come to an end)!! That's pretty awesome just by itself & there is so much more that heaven will be.
